As the name suggests, you aim a method that get you right to the pin. This method is often used by the beginning bowler, because you usually, if you want to hit something, you try to aim directly at you. In bowling, it is wiser to use the other two methods.

Draai wat rond met uw hoofd om uw nek te ontspannen. Maak daarna een stuk of 5 swings tot uw denkt dat uw goed zit. De bal moet worden losgelaten als de arm loodrecht staat op de 'approach' met de bal 2 tot 5 cm boven de enkel van de 'glijvoet'. De bal die vanuit de worp vanuit de hand van de bowler komt zou op de baan moeten terechtkomen als een vliegtuig dat landt op een landingsbaan. Dit betekend zacht en tegelijkertijd vlot. Designed by WM Het is zeer belangrijk om de juiste bowlingbal te vinden daar dit immers mee bepaald om een perfecte strike of spare te gooien. Het gewicht Er zijn verschillende soorten bowlingballen in verschillende gewichten van 6 tot en met 16 pounds. De bowlingbal mag niet te veel maar ook niet te weinig wegen. Wees dus niet overmoedig en neem geen te zware bal van bijvoorbeeld 16 pounds. Want na een tijdje zullen uw spieren te veel gaan verzwakken. We weten uit ervaring dat een te zware bal kan leiden tot blessures. Een te lichte bal is dan weer niet goed, daar je te hard kunt gooien en daarbij te veel kracht kan zetten op de bal met gevolg dat de richting waarin de bal moet rollen volledig verkeerd rolt. Het is dus belangrijk om de perfect wegende bal te vinden zodoende deze meester te zijn.
